Blogger interview! Blogger interview! Blogger interview!!!

I know it has been a quite a long time since you have read a blogger interview on my blog. So, here I’m with the latest blogger interview. I’ve had the opportunity to interview Chinmayee Gayatree Sahu, a blogger author of 2 published books.

Well, without making to much of an adieu let’s here from our guest.

Q. 1. Please introduce yourself to our readers.

Ans – I am Chinmayee Gayatree Sahu. I am a Govt. Employee and I love writing and reading in my spare time. I have authored two books and have been part of an anthology. My first book – “Five Petals” is a collection of short stories and the second book titled “Heartfelt Symphonies” is a poetry platter where I have written poems which cover various human emotions.

All my books are available on Amazon.

You can check out the links below and couple of links embedded in the above texts as well.

I am also a blogger and I blog @ chinmayeecreations.com

Q. 2. What was your inspiration to start your blog Chinmayee’s Creations?

Ans – The blog was initially a space for me to vent out my innermost emotions. Later it became recognised and I kept adding layers to it. I write fiction, Non- fiction, poems and Book reviews along with Author interviews.  My blogging journey has helped me connect with many beautiful minds and souls.

Q. 3. How would you describe/introduce your blog to the new readers?

Ans – My Blog is a space where hearts connect because I pour my heart out.  I have named it as Chinmayee’s Creations and to be honest I create each of my post with a lot of dedication. Covering life journeys of many Authors, or people who have made a difference sometimes has been challenging because you have to make it look personal to the readers but should never cross the line. It has also been a very rewarding task as well.

Q. 4. What do you think as the best and challenging aspects about being a blogger/writer?

Ans – The best thing is that you own a space where you can be yourself and having a blog has given me a creative pursuit and broaden my own perspectives.   And when your thoughts are appreciated by the readers, the feeling is amazing!

The most challenging aspect for me has been being consistent in creating quality content. I just do not want to write for the sake of writing. Having said that I also realise, I need to write more.

Q. 5. How would you describe your blogging/writing style?

Ans – I would not want to say that I have a style of my own. May be my readers will be better judges in this aspect. I write honestly and probably that somewhere connects me with my readers.

Q. 6. What do you think blogging will look like in next 5 years? Will it still be around?

Ans – Yes, blogging will surely stay. The widening spread of social media, the easy access of internet and the digital world will keep it alive. But yes, it may undergo drastic changes in terms of quality of content. People today have very less patience and they want instant gratification out of everything. So, I fear that in future a post that apparently ‘looks’ good will be read more rather than a post which has more research material.

Q. 7. Which part of blogging excites you the most &imp; why – research piece, post writing or photography?

Ans – Blogging is incomplete without research. Even in fiction, one has to learn many styles. So, yes I enjoy all the parts involved to create a blog post that might seems small but requires a lot of effort.  And sometimes when we write personal experiences, there is a fear of being judges by your readers and sometimes the anticipation id overwhelming.  Having a balance is important  and we all take the risk while doing so.

Q. 8. What is the biggest surprise that you have ever experienced after becoming a blogger/writer?

Ans – The biggest surprise has been the bonds that I have been able to form. Writing is a lonely affair and to be honest, I was battling severe depression when I started writing.  At that point I had never imagined, that a whole new world would open up and I would connect with such ignited minds.

Q. 9. What has been the toughest criticism and best compliment given to you as a blogger/writer?

Ans – Well, writing community has been extremely supportive and I do not think I have faced any such harsh criticism so far. Every reader who visits my blog or leaves a comment be it on the blog or on social media motivates me to write responsibly and with a purpose.  I can say, I have just started and there are so many seasoned writers and I have to learn so much to write better.

Q. 10. Would you like to share some words of wisdom or tips for the aspiring bloggers/writers?

Ans – I think we all have this craze for being perfect in our endeavours that we often forget that perfections happen when we choose and own up our imperfections.  So, I would suggest there will never be a perfect time to write a blog post or a book and even if you get the time, you might not be happy with the outcome yourself. But this should not stop you from your writing journey. It is easier said than done and fighting imposter syndrome is a real challenge for many writers.

Well, THANK YOU Chinmayee for sharing your thoughts with our readers and inspiring them.
